The Wheatfield House
Sifnos
Apollonia
The lovely steno (pedestrian main street) contains many buildings dating from the seventeenth century, all in whitewashed Cycladic style, and is lined with restaurants, cocktail bars, and boutiques, interspersed with historic churches. Some restaurants and bars have roof terraces where you can enjoy your favorite drink under the moonlit sky, gazing out over the houses to the surrounding hills and sea beyond.
Artemonas
Τhe delightful tree and restaurant lined village square overlooking the ancient church of Panagia of Kochi is the center of cultural activities. A paved narrow street lined with beautiful nineteenth century mansions set in shaded gardens leads up the hill from the village square. Quiet narrow side‐ streets offer a glimpse of traditional Sifnian life and contain restaurants, artist studios and specialty stores.
Kamares
Τhe surprisingly attractive port, lined with a gaggle of tavernas and coffee shops renting sun‐loungers where you can watch comings and goings.
